The $10.00 cover at the door ($5.00 students) benefits the Berkshire Festival of Women Writers and WBCR-LP. In this interactive lecture with song, acclaimed folksinger Peggy Seeger explores the image and roles of women in traditional Anglo-American songs dating from the 1600’s onward.

Phil studied seven years with an enlightened Hindu teacher and parallels the didgeridoo, a non-denominational meditation accelerator, with Eastern Philosophy, New Thought, and Aboriginal Traditions. He has performed at Royal Albert Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, as well as at Glastonbury Music Festival. He has been a frequent guest presenter at Deepak Chopra’s Center for Well-Being and has appeared on radio, including NPR and numerous times on television including the BBC, NBC, CBS, and ABC.
Arlo Guthrie’s “Historic Garbage Trail” Walk to Massacree
Our 14th annual "Arlo Guthrie’s Historic Garbage Trail" Walk to Massacree HD (Huntington’s Disease) is a fun day riding in a VW Microbus to Theresa’s Stockbridge Cafe where the 6.3 mile walk begins … not before having a delicious breakfast!
You will begin the walk by going to the "police officers" station and then on to the old town dump where you’ll be entertained by the dump divas! Next you’ll have some delicious ice cream & shrimp cocktail. Lastly you’ll walk by Robby Baier’s Soultube Studio & AmeriGas, ending at the Guthrie Center. At the center you will receive a free lunch compliments of Laurel Lake Center for Health & Rehabilitation and enjoy some live music.
Registration begins at 8:30 until 9:45 at The Guthrie Center; the walk begins at 10:00.
